Some gear you buy. Some gear ends up on the front page.
The September 17, 2026 edition of Inglewood News, the weekly newspaper of Inglewood, ran one headline across the top of the cover:
Pickleball is Officially Back in Inglewood
Right under it, taking up most of the page, is a photo of players at the grand opening of the new pickleball courts at Darby Park. Look close and you will see a lot of Ynot.
Who is in the shot
On the far right is Tony Senior, the man Ynot is named after (spelled backwards). He is in a Ynot cap and a Ynot tee, backpack on, ready to play.
Next to him, two of the ladies are wearing the brand. One has on a Ynot visor with a Ynot tank. The other is in the middle of the frame in a Ynot tee, paddle in hand and smiling like she just won a point.
Nobody was posing for a catalog. It is just a group of friends showing up for opening day in the gear they already play in. That is exactly how we want Ynot to show up.
Pickleball is back in Inglewood
This one is bigger than us. The story is Inglewood getting its courts back, with a grand opening at Darby Park that brought out a crowd. The paper ran a thank-you to everyone who came and said it hopes to see everyone out there enjoying the courts.
That is the same thing that happened in Carson in 2021. Somebody pushes, the city builds, and a community shows up. It is good to see it happening next door.
From Carson to Inglewood
Ynot started on the courts in Carson. Seeing it on the front page of a newspaper two cities over tells us the look is traveling. The kente, the color, the swagger: it belongs on every court where this community plays.
If you were at Darby Park for the opening, come find us in Carson. And if you want what they are wearing, keep an eye out for the next drop.
